Be careful both of you. The enemy has many spies in his service: birds, beasts. Never put it on, for the agents of the Dark Lord will be drawn to its power. Always remember, Frodo, the Ring is trying to get back to its master. It wants to be found.

Listen. You didn't go to sleep one day thinking you're the most awesome person on this earth and wake up the next thinking you're the most terrible one. No, it was an accumulation of a thousand little things.

Starting to hate yourself took time.

Starting to love yourself will take time too.

Let's begin by tolerance first, okay?

Every poll on this website is like:

I'm asking a question aimed at a specific group?

Yes 🟦

No 🟦

I'm not part of that group 🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦

"I want," the man said to the art robot, and then described an image in some detail.
"Certainly," said the art robot. A printout came out of its chest.
"Thank y- Hey! What's this?"
"A list of artists who make images of the kind you describe, and who are accepting commissions."

This is a horror story to a techbro and a feel-good comedy to anyone with a sense of human decency.

This is a friendly reminder that consent is important. It doesn't matter what your sexual/romantic orientation is. It doesn't matter what kind of the physical touch it is (anything from a handshake to a hug to a kiss to sex, etc.). It doesn't matter if you have said "yes" before and say "no" now. You always have the right to say "no." You should never compromise your boundaries because they are valid.

Additionally, it is important to respect the boundaries of others. Even if their boundaries are completely different from yours, they are still valid and should be respected.

my aroace 101 presentation script is now available as a PDF for anyone who wants it! i've set it to Pay What You Want with a minimum of 0 dollar since i want it to be an accessible resource, but i did also work pretty hard on it so a little tip isn't unwelcome!

topics i cover:

- definitions of aromantic and asexual identities

- different types of attraction

- variety in ace & aro experiences

- challenges & stigma

- rethinking relationships

- allyship

it's 15 pages and 4.6k words!

and so the day was saved thanks to neurodivergent little girls, rebellious daughters, and the world's most sopping wet man with the saddest eyes you've ever seen

and of course biden is doing nothing about this
